I work with survivors of a broad spectrum of traumatic experiences, who are ready to do the work that leads to success in Austin, Tx. For my treatment of trauma-related disorders to be effective, the client and I must collaborate and both must invest in the client’s success. To our mutual delight, healing work with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting helps my clients transform their lives as they heal and live in the present. Your treatment has a beginning, middle and end – and we will take the first step together. Victims of trauma must understand Emotional Personas (EP) and the role they play in trauma symptoms and treatment. My work involves education around EPs to reinforce that the individual is not defined by trauma and its symptoms. Instead, we must identify, process and integrate the EPs to heal the whole person. Many of my clients have tried other therapies in the past with little to no success, sometimes including many years of talk therapy. Some haven’t felt comfortable enough to share their deeper traumas with their therapist, citing trust issues or fears that their therapist couldn’t handle what they had to tell them. Frustrated and tired of endless talk sessions and debilitating symptoms, they were ready to go further in their treatment and do the work. That is where I help.
