About Emory Moot Court Society

Emory Moot Court Society is a competitive, student-led organization in which member students practice and develop their written and oral appellate advocacy skills. First-year students at Emory Law compete in the annual Stange Competition each Spring for the opportunity to gain membership. As 2Ls, members compete in another intraschool competition, after which 2L members are placed on one of EMCS' competition teams. Our competition teams travel to and compete in various interschool competitions throughout the country.
