EMPATHY CHILDREN INITIATIVE is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) operating in Mayuge District, Eastern Uganda to extend Children Advocacy, Education support, Housing, Feeding, and Medical care to Orphans, School Dropouts, abandoned children, and the vulnerable. EMPATHY CHILDREN INITIATIVE, also fosters educating Young girls on matters of Menstrual Health, Nutrition, HIV prevention methods, fighting teenage pregnancies, and early marriages as well as encouraging them to stay in School ( Limiting school dropout).
We further provide a loving Environment to Children from HIV/AIDS-affected families and also offer to empower the community to goals of self-sustainability and increasing Household incomes for a better livelihood. This is done by teaching them various Farming methods and introducing of New crops in the Market hence fostering Community Agricultural Development. We also act as Voice for the marginalized, Destitute, and vulnerable. In addition, we also advocate for clean and safe water in rural communities of the Mayuge District.
Our philosophy and ethos have never changed. Just like our motto, "Restoring Hope for the Destitute".
