EmpowerCare, part of Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, is a new volunteer-led organization, building a mobile application for chronic illness and disability patients, with eventually both a youth and adult offering.
The app uses our innovative, and incentive-based approach that harnesses shared value methods to motivate and support users, with a online peer support and mental health network providing a safe and welcoming community for all. Built by people with disabilities for people with disabilities.
Mission: EmpowerCare is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to take control of their health and wellbeing, and to live life to the fullest. By providing a range of tools and resources to manage symptoms and daily tasks, it will allow users to feel more confident in themselves living with a chronic illness.
Vision: At EmpowerCare, our vision is a world where individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities are able to lead healthy, and enriching lives. Our goal is to become the go-to resource for individuals with disabilities who are seeking support, information, and motivation to take control of their health and wellbeing. We are committed to building a more inclusive, accessible, and compassionate world for all.
