EmpowerRise Hub is Somalia’s first women-led innovation and technology hub founded by Mushtaq Muhudin Adam following her national win in the 2024 UNFPA EmpowerHer Innovation Challenge.
Based in Mogadishu, our hub is a pioneering social enterprise dedicated to equipping young women and youth with the tools to transform their futures through digital skills, vocational training, and entrepreneurship. We exist to challenge systemic exclusion by creating access to opportunity, mentorship, and innovation especially for those historically left out of Somalia’s tech and economic growth.
Our work is deeply rooted in community empowerment, gender equality, and grassroots innovation. Every program, partnership, and initiative we build aims to unlock local talent, promote healing and leadership, and foster sustainable change.
