South Africa is experiencing some of the worlds worst socio-economic issues with widespread poverty, chronic health problems, low levels of education and major social issues. These problems are rooted in a vicious cycle, each affecting and affected by the other.
Government and NGO initiatives are underway to tackle these issues. In particular, there has been a focus on building health service capacity to respond to the HIV crisis and a large portion of government budget goes toward providing education. These initiatives are providing critical services however, they tend to be siloed and focused on the symptoms rather than the root causes of the problems.
Enabling Africa delivers aid in a new, unique and highly effective way. Our approach is root cause focused and drives long term behavioural change that will reverse these major socio-economic issues.
