We look at grid connections and high-voltage electricity installations as potential money making machines, with continuous annual returns.
Typically, we observe on a connection:
- Power that is not in use but is contractually available
- Power that is only temporarily in use, incurring significant costs for 12 months. This includes seasonal processes, peak power processes (such as motor startups), exceptional events, etc.
We harness this "dormant power" by:
- Providing fixed available power to grid operators (Elia) to support grid stability.
- Utilizing flexible power through accurate price predictions of imbalance quarter-hour prices, enabling our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to make the most optimal movements (cheap charging, expensive discharging).
Our goal is to transform your business case related to power availability from a cost scenario into a profitable business-case with positive annual bottom-line impact.
We deploy at various locations in Belgium starting with 500kW available power up to several MW.
