Almazar is an experienced marketer in the Healthcare space in the Philippines and other markets in Asia. His most recent responsibility as was as Country Manager of Hospira Philippines from 2006 to 2013. A few of his Key Achievements –  Led Philippine operations to improve its market ranking from being 23rd at launch to 6th by 2013, based on the IMS PHPA 2Q 2013 MAT Market Audit, and to be consistently in the top 10 market drivers in the annual IMS Audit, by developing an aggressive product launch pipeline and focusing on strategic markets.  Developed the Philippine business to be a strong market challenger or dominant player positions in both established or newly entered market segments/channels – Acute Care Specialty Pharma, Infusion Pumps & Devices, Needle-Less Systems.  Drove the Philippine business to be the 2nd biggest affiliate, in terms of revenue for Hospira Asia/Greater China Region and #1 in margin contribution.  Affiliate with the highest 5-year revenue & net income CAGR of all spun off entities (doubled the size of revenue in 3 years of operations and tripled this in 7 years) Prior to Hospira, he was running the fastest growing division of Abbott Philippines - The Hospital care division as its Marketing Director. Some of his key achievements –  Led the Division to an 18% 3-year top line sales compounded growth rate; Division revenue of PhP1B by end 2004.  Drove all managed franchises to leadership positions – Medical Nutrition, Anesthetics, Cardio Inotropes.  Consistently delivered bottom line plan commitments, through portfolio optimization and new product introductions.  Achieved an industry high of PhP23.7MM sales force productivity.
