enlightenVue is a development stage company producing an advanced suite of single-use micro-endoscopes. Our endoscopes directly address the high risk of exposure to potentially deadly bacteria from contaminated medical instruments during endoscopic procedures. The underlying problem is the difficulty and expense of current endoscope systems that require reprocessing and sterilization between patients, keeping the procedures primarily restricted to the hospital or outpatient clinical environment. Despite the small size, our micro-endoscopes offer a fully functioning working channel, light source and a High Definition camera within the body of the endoscope.
