The Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology is addressing some of the most serious challenges affecting our society, from pollution and environmental disasters to environmental health effects and treatments.
Our Mission:
--Educate students in toxicology and environmental chemistry
--Conduct research on the fate of chemical and effect in humans and other organisms
--Engage the public through extension and outreach on the effects of chemical on humans and the environment
--Enhance the treatment and prevention of human disease
Our Vision:
--To create a toxicology program dedicated to disseminating knowledge and technical resources in a systems approach to human safety, exposure assessment, and environmental stewardship.
