Our main goal is to donate refurbished laptops to Greek-based public schools and other educational institutions, which often lack in up-to-date IT equipment.
Our mission is to give students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern technology and build their computer and IT skills. We firmly believe that computer education in schools plays an important role in students’ career development and we strive to close the opportunity gap by ensuring that all students across the country have access to laptops.
Epanekkinisis meets three core objectives: providing primary school and high-school students with laptops that have an integrated, user-friendly educational software, promoting social recycling by refurbishing unused equipment and lastly, encouraging individuals to volunteer and give back to the local community.
Κύριος στόχος μας είναι να δωρίσουμε επιδιορθωμένους φορητούς υπολογιστές σε όλα τα δημοτικά, γυμνάσια και λύκεια της χώρας, τα οποία, είτε δεν διαθέτουν επαρκή εξοπλισμό, είτε αυτός είναι πολυχρησιμοποιημένος και δύσχρηστος.
Όραμά μας είναι κάθε μαθητής να αποκτήσει τη δεξιότητα να χειρίζεται σωστά και αποτελεσματικά ηλεκτρονικό υπολογιστή, κατέχοντας έτσι τη γνώση της σύγχρονης τεχνολογίας και χρήσης του διαδικτύου. Οι γνώσεις αυτές αποτελούν απαραίτητο εφόδιο στην βασική του εκπαίδευση αρχικά και στην περαιτέρω μόρφωσή του αργότερα.
Η δράση θέτει τρεις βασικούς στόχους: να παρέχει πρόσβαση στην πληροφορική σε μαθητές δημοτικού και γυμνασίου, να προάγει την ιδέα της ανακύκλωσης παλαιών υπολογιστών και παράλληλα να προάγει την ίδια την ιδέα του εθελοντισμού.
