WINDEAGLE can accurately detect the static yaw misalignment, leading 1-3% AEP gains . ROTOR IMBALANCE DETECTION 25% of WT suffer from rotor imbalance up to 2°. Rotor imbalance reduces the aerodynamic efficiency and can lead to reduced asset life of WT's. WINDEAGLE detects aerodynamic and mass imbalances. Correcting the rotor imbalances can lead up to 1% AEP gain. TURBULENCE INTENSITY BY WIND SECTOR Turbulence intensity affects performance and has an impact on WT loads and fatigue. WINDEAGLE measures Turbulence Intensity directly in front of the blades where it is most precise. Curtailment strategies can be improved to increase performance and increase reliability of major components. Wake steering control brings 3-5% AEP gain. TRUE NORTH DETECTION WINDEAGLE provides true north measurements to correct nacelle positions and improve curtailment strategies for a higher performance of the WT. RELATIVE POWER CURVES WINDEAGLE provides independent and accurate LiDAR based power curves, more precise than SCADA based power curves. Comparative analysis of power curves allows to evaluate improvements on WT or between WT.
