With less than 30% of the country population having access to electricity, there is a tremendous need in Mozambique for off grid renewable energy solutions: lighting houses and power home appliances like TVs, radios and fans; water pumps for rural irrigation; cold storage and “plug and play” power solutions for schools, health, off grid administrative centers and remote commercial activities.
This is why Epsilon Energia Solar (EES) was created in 2018. A Mozambican company servicing rural communities by initially selling Solar Home Systems on a Pay as you Go basis (PAYGO), EES is now expanding the range of products offered on a PAYGO basis, offering Cooling as a Service solutions (CaaS) and can propose off grid power solutions in partnership with local installation companies.
