The master in Membrane Engineering for Sustainable Development, MESD, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master provides an advanced education programme oriented towards new technologies and emerging applications at the interface between material science and chemical engineering and aiming the best match between labour supply and demand.
Main objectives:
-to expand knowledge and educate students in Membrane Engineering to provide outstanding students to be inserted in the industry or in academic research.
-to promote excellence, innovation, mobility and diversity in high-quality courses related to membrane science and engineering at the interface between material science and chemical engineering.
-to address environmental and sustainability challenges and to provide effective membrane-based solutions in the fields of Energy, Food, Bio and Health, and Water.
The master in Membrane Engineering for Sustainable Development, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master is funded by the European Commission under the supervision of the Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). It is a direct follow-up to the successful Erasmus Mundus Masters in Membrane Engineering project: EM3E-4SW, (2017-2021) and EM3E (2011-2017) also funded by the European Commission.
