It has often been said that more and better educational provision is the most pressing need in Pakistan. However, those who say these things do not then go on to suggest how this huge task may be accomplished. It is our belief that a significant contribution can be made by social entrepreneurs who bring creativity and financial investment into the educational sector.
We at Ermine have a number of ideas that we intend to implement. All of our ideas concern improving educational quality. We aim to use the experience gained of working in educational institutions in both in Pakistan and in England to bring the best available management to all our projects. Indeed, we believe that sound educational management is an extremely important factor in improving children’s experience of schooling and one that is often overlooked.
When we acquire any school it is with the intention of improving it. We will recognise any good features already in place and preserve them carefully. Our style is not to disrupt but to nurture, encourage and generate enthusiasm for better outcomes.
