We are a family owned General Engineering Contractor located in Lakeside, CA. Erreca's Inc. was founded in 1955 with the purchase of 1 water truck. We evolved over the years and in the mid 80's entered the General Engineering Contractor industry. Most of our work is located in San Diego County and the surrounding areas. We perform major projects involving earthwork, wet utilities, roads, highways & overpass construction.
Our largest projects have both been Highway jobs. The first was the expansion of SR 125, in which Erreca’s Inc. constructed a 6 lane highway from Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa, CA to Highway 52 in Santee, CA ($52,000,000). The second, due for completion in the Spring of 2010, is the first of three phases that extends Hwy 52 all the way to Hwy 67; our portion (phase 1) covers the area between Hwy 125 and Cuyamaca Street in Santee, CA. With its eleven bridges, two retaining walls, four MSE walls, one large box culvert, 900,000+ cubic yards of excavation, 330,000+ cubic yards of import, 100,000+ tons of base, and sizeable amount of underground work including 17,000+ feet of pipe installation, it involves all 3 divisions of the company and is the most complex project ever performed by Erreca's Inc. The value of this contract is ($56,000,000).
