ESOMOOR is transforming mooring technologies for Floating Offshore Wind Farms (FOWFs), aiming to lower energy costs, boost efficiency, and elevate industry confidence in innovative solutions. To achieve the overarching goals, ESOMOOR will conduct experimental and simulation-based prototype demonstrations of the next game-changing mooring technologies, including shared mooring and extensive use of mooring lines made of polyester and polyamide. Additionally, ESOMOOR will develop enhanced simulation tools and modeling techniques to support the demonstration and validation process.
