Created in 1983, the King Fahd School of Translation of Tangier (ESRFT) welcomes its first class in September 1986. The city of Tangier, given its extremely favorable location, at the crossroads of Europe, Africa and the Arab World, was the privileged place for the construction of the School. With this strength, it will perfectly fulfill its mission, namely the promotion of cultural and civilizational communication which is closely related to translation.
