Essential Touchstones offers Intense Outpatient Therapy for adolescents ages 13-18 through several evidenced-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, contingency management and Twelve Step facilitation. Adolescents will receive six hours of group therapy a week, where we will talk about the neurobiology of addiction, which is the medical aspect of Substance Use Disorders. For the core IOP, we use the Hazelden Betty Ford Matrix Model OnDemand. We also offer a 6 to 10 week Brief Marijuana Intervention and a six-week course called Safe Dates focused on preventing dating violence. We are certified by the Department of Mental Health.
