Qendra tregtare ETC buron nga kompania e madhe ELKOS Group e cila filloj si një pikë e vogël tregtimi prej 70m2 në vitin 1989.
Pas vetëm një viti filloj të funksiononte si pikë me shumicë duke tregtuar me prodhime të ndryshme të asaj kohe.
Që nga ajo kohë dhe deri ne vitin 1998 ELKOS pati, pika shitëse me shumicë në Pejë dhe Prishtinë si dhe Rozhajë të Malit të Zi.
Lufta e vitit 1998-1999 pati efekt shkatërrues. Ndërtesat, makineritë dhe malli në dispozicion u konfiskuan dhe u shkatërruan plotësisht, duke filluar nga zero, atëherë kur edhe ekonomia e shtetit ishte zero.
Deri në vitin 2005 Elkos qëndroj si ndërmarrje e shitjes me shumicë e ndërtuar me pika shitëse në shtatë qytete të Kosovës.
Ne vitin 2005 u hap qendra e parë tregtare ETC në Qytetin e Pejës dhe brenda pak vitesh shtriu zinxhirin e saj në të gjitha qytetet e Kosovës duke arritur numrin 26 të qendrave shitëse deri me sot.
Pas shtrirjes në Kosovë, ishte koha të fillohej në Regjion, prandaj ELKOS filloj shtrirjen duke hapur pikat shitëse në Shqipëri, Maqedoni dhe Mal të zi.
Duke parë mundësinë e mbështetjes së prodhimit bujqësor, ELKOS hapi edhe Qendrat Agrare te Grumbullimit dhe Distribuimit.
Viteve të fundit ELKOS ka filluar me sektorin e prodhimit në mënyrë që tregut tonë ti ofrohen produkte vendore cilësore.
ELKOS posedon rreth 400 mjete zyrtare duke perfshirë makinat, Pick up të Agjentëve të shitjes, kombi, kamioneta, kamiona, kamion me rimorkio, kamion me Frigo dhe shleperë.
Të gjitha këto automjetet dhe pajisjet e punës me të cilat kryhen funksionet punuese në Elkos, janë të teknologjive të fundit dhe bëjnë që puna të realizohet sa më lehtë dhe sipas standardeve europiane.
ELKOS tanimë ka filluar të zgjërohet edhe me pika më të vogla shitëse ETC Express dhe dyqanet e teknikës Media Store.
