Ethnē itself means a group of people who are united by kinship, culture, and common traditions. It is the word used in Matthew 28:19 and Revelation 5:9 for “all nations”. We know that God longs for people who will love and follow him from every tribe and language and people and nation.
We hope that as we grow and learn from our neighbors of all ethnic backgrounds, and learn to love them well, that regardless of cultural history, we can create new common traditions, establish centers for quality health, and send out even more to serve among all ethnē.
