Evolaris Aviation Gmbh Overview

evolaris - a merger of the Bern University of Applied science and the aircraft manufacturer MSW Aviation – has developed an electrical high power aerobatic motor for the swiss aerobatic aircraft VOTEC 221 in the past 1.5 years. This electric motor will replace the existing 4/6 cylinder combustion engines like the commonly used Lycoming / Continental engines. First prototype tests will take place in spring / summer 2017. According to our project plan, flight-tests are planned in autumn 2017. evolaris - a dynamic and innovative team of aviation enthusiasts - has a wide experience in motor and battery design for aircraft and mobility systems. As well evolaris is equipped for electronic and software design, production and test for aviation and industrial applications.
