History:
Externet was created in 1996 with the intention of providing its customers with comprehensive high quality telecommunication services ranging from basic household services to complex business solutions. Externet has set a strategic goal of providing the best value for money and the company has the advantage of being independent from the other big players of the telecommunication market. The products offered by Externet are based on reliable, high quality services. In addition to offering traditional household and business solutions, Externet Plc has by now become a basic service provider for a number of large companies and public service providers. Externet operates a technical centre in Budapest and in Szolnok. The products and services are available not only in the phone network owned by Magyar Telekom but throughout the phone networks leased to other companies. Externet assigns high priority to fast and effective customer service. The non-stop customer service department replies to e-mails on a short notice and handles phone inquiries. Externet products and services are also available through a steadily expanding network of reseller partners counting more than one hundred retail stores as of today.
