At Fabic we support children, teenagers and adults to understand and change unwanted behaviours, and develop to live to their full potential. We offer a complete range of clinical services from psychology, behaviour specialist services, speech pathology, occupational therapy and counselling, as well as training programs, workshops, a practical and supportive product range and a variety of assessments. Our core philosophy at Fabic is that at the heart of every individual is an awesome, amazing and lovable being. When we are faced with situations in life that we find challenging and do not feel equipped to manage, the behaviours that we choose may not always match our true nature. We understand that behaviour is something that a person does; not who a person is. No person at Fabic is ever seen for his or her behaviours, diagnosis, label or any other defining characteristic. We see all people for the unique amazing person that they truly are. We see people for their potential first! With this approach we understand that if taught how, all people can change their own behaviour if they choose to. Using desired behaviour is a skill that requires teaching; we do not expect people to automatically know how to respond to all aspects of life.
