FAMUN FACAMP

FAMUN stands for FACAMP Model United Nations. It was created in 2013 in order to provide Brazilian and international students a groundbreaking academic experience. In 2021, we will be holding our 8th conference. By performing the roles of Heads of State and Government, Ministers and Diplomats, students discuss issues of great international relevance. It is an opportunity for youth to exchange ideas and create solutions to global problems. FAMUN is a WIMUN Affiliate and our simulation follows the WIMUN approach, which aims to offer High School and University students the most accurate way to simulate the United Nations. It gives the delegates a real experience of how the UN negotiations really work, emphasizing the importance of consensus when adopting documents, and building negotiations through the real flow of debate used by the UN. In FAMUN, participants are closer to the real United Nations, its entities and staff. Em 2021, teremos a nossa 8ª conferência. Ao assumir as funções de Chefes de Estado e de Governo, Ministros e Diplomatas, os estudantes discutem questões de grande relevância internacional. A conferência é uma oportunidade para a juventude trocar ideias e criar soluções para problemas globais. O FAMUN é afiliado ao WIMUN e nossa simulação segue a abordagem WIMUN, que visa oferecer aos estudantes de Ensino Médio e de Ensino Superior a maneira mais precisa de simular as Nações Unidas. Essa abordagem proporciona aos delegados uma experiência real de como as negociações da ONU funcionam, enfatizando a importância do consenso ao adotar documentos e conduzir as negociações segundo o fluxo de debate usado pela própria ONU.
