Far East Gem Research Institute (FEGRI) partners with universities for researches on diamond and gemstone. We also provide gems and jewellery-related training courses. Our mission is to create opportunities & support our students to enter into the gems & jewellery industry.
In the year 2000, FEGRI opened its doors to professionals, jewellers and gem enthusiasts to an unparalleled opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience. Since then, we have trained staff from many reputable jewellery companies including Chopard, BVLGARI, Tiffany & Co., LEE HWA Jewellery, On Cheong Jewellery and Poh Heng. We also have doctors, lawyers, I.T. professionals, media professionals and members from the general public attending our courses.

We have invited internationally recognized institutes such as GIA for a Pearl Seminar in 2005 and HRDAntwerp for a Diamond Seminar in 2009. This is because we believe that education should always be updated with new industry discoveries/development around the world.
