We are:
-Strong believers in being self- and village- sufficient. If we can’t make or grow it ourselves, we buy local when able to support our neighbors, brothers and sisters. If you don’t see the community you want to have in your town… time to start creating it.
-Supporters and adopters of holistic and naturopathic care. From herbs and oils and fungi to fresh air and pressure points, I have a personal testimony of chronic pain and health issues, to a life truly worth living. We hope you can glean from our experiences, and might just consider doing it for yourselves and your families!
-Believers in gardens that support the native environment, and using what we have on-hand to reduce and eliminate waste. We are ditching the ag-norms of our time and adopting: permaculture, chop and drop weeding, and switching to home/nature-made fertilizers and nutrient boosters.
-Believers in education! We can’t keep all of this information to ourselves. We strive to enlighten our community, our followers, our friends and family. Learn how to preserve, extract, bake, make dairy products, farm care, and more!
Above all, we believe in our Creator. Things are not always, or should I say, things are almost never easy in farm-life considering the learning curves of leaving a desert city and entering into small-town Ozarks, leaving friends and family behind, starting new jobs and losing them and starting over again and repeating the process thrice more…
BUT,
We have FAITH in our Heavenly Father. When things go right, we praise. When things go wrong, we pray. And when things are becoming unbearable and prayers feel unanswered, we pray harder.
We strive to live everyday to become more like our Saviour; that when passers-by see us, they see not ourselves, but the Love of Yeshua in us instead.
