A young women's organization in Indonesia, Fatayat Nahdlatul ʿUlamāʾ is an integral part of Nahdlatul ʿUlamāʾ (NU), the largest Islamic organization in the country. NU has also established an organization for adult women called Muslimat NU, as well as one for female students called Female Students of the NU Association (IPPNU). In line with the vision of its founding, Fatayat NU seeks to strengthen the rights of women and make women's rights a strategic issue. Fatayat NU is pioneered by Murthosiyah, Khuzaimah Mansur, and Aminah Mansur, with support from Kyai Haji Dahlan, the chairperson of NU.
