FAVOR (Faces and Voices of Recovery) -Laurel Highlands, is a community center, not a rehab. A safe place filled with individuals in long term recovery offering hope that recovery is not only possible, but probable with the proper supports in place. A safe place to come to when you or a loved one needs to learn more about recovery and available resources.
FAVOR -Laurel Highlands, mission is:
Assisting individuals, families, and communities in building sustainable recovery capital. We exist to serve as a vital backbone of support across the Laurel Highlands region that will result in empowered residents and stronger communities.
The establishment of FAVOR -Laurel Highland’s recovery center marks a significant milestone in our community’s efforts to support individuals in recovery. FAVOR -Laurel Highlands is fully peer-run and governed, meaning all employees and board majority are in recovery. Our organization will serve as a hub for people in need of assistance, offering a variety of services, including:
Support group meetings
Educational workshops
Wellness and self-care programs
Peer mentoring and coaching
Advocacy for recovery-related policies
Community outreach and events
