Die FCP GmbH hat ihren Sitz in Chemnitz, Sachsen. Die Nähe zur Forschung und regionale kompetente Zulieferer machen den Standort zur ersten Wahl. FCP wird mittelfristig 100 Mitarbeiter beschäftigen. Am Standort Chemnitz wird ein neues modernes Unternehmen errichtet. Dort werden Brennstoffzellen, Antriebssystem mit den Komponenten E-Motor, Getriebe und Steuerung entwickelt, getestet und in Serie produziert. In Chemnitz wird eines der in Europa modernsten Testzentren für Brennstoffzellen- und Antriebstechnologie errichtet.
FCP ist ein Joint Venture zwischen der deutschen PTT GmbH und einem chinesischen Investor.
Das Tochterunternehmen FCP China wird die Serienfertigung, Vertrieb und Service für den chinesischen Markt übernehmen. FCP kann somit vom schnell wachsenden Markt in China für Brennstoffzellen basierten Anwendungen profitieren.
Der europäische Markt wird von Chemnitz aus betreut.
