"Feinheimisch - Genuss aus Schleswig-Holstein" was founded in 2007 by seven committed restaurateurs to show that you can cook well and to a high quality using local products. The association grew quickly, and producers and sponsors joined, all of whom work in the spirit of regional identity, value food and want to draw more attention to Schleswig-Holstein's cuisine. Today, the association already has over 600 members. FEINHEIMISCH is a network of agricultural producers and manufacturers, chefs and restaurateurs, private members and commercial sponsors.
FEINHEIMISCH stands for fresh, high-quality food without additives from Schleswig-Holstein and its use in restaurants and private households.
FEINHEIMISCH producers source and farm responsibly in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.
FEINHEIMISCH farmers keep their animals in a species-appropriate manner. Both promote variety in the region and the country.
FEINHEIMISCH chefs preserve Schleswig-Holstein cuisine and carefully develop it further. They avoid wasting food and energy and avoid industrially prepared products.
