In order to promote female entrepreneurship and enable women to found their business, the Innovation Office (University of Basel) launched the FEMtrepreneurs Initiative in 2019. FEMtrepreneurs are female entrepreneurs and women holding leadership positions in organizations.
We focus on supporting innovative, research-based projects and do so by providing entrepreneurial education, supporting projects by giving them visibility, as well as creating a network of peers, future employees, supporters and advisors. Lastly, we want to open the door to the world through the global partners.
With our partners Impact Hub, WeHub India, HBA and womenmatters, we reinvent how FEMtrepreneurs interact and thrive, thus increasing the number of female leaders and entrepreneurs in Switzerland and beyond.
