We may have even treated ourselves by purchasing an item in the local market. What most tourists don’t know is that more likely than not they have bought a product that is from anywhere BUT Italy. It is a common practice to ship goods from Asia, stitch a portion of the product with the locally made item (e.g., a pocket, label, or a bag cover) and label the merchandise with a Made In Italy logo. We do things differently. Our products go through a meticulous selection process to ensure merchandise is authentic and meets Italian quality standards. We get to know our designers, and we study their work.
