Field & Forage is an outdoor cooking and culinary lifestyle brand co-founded by Chef Lisa Freeman, former Executive Chef for NASCAR, and co-owner of Gypsy Bistro in California’s Sierra Foothills.
After more than a decade behind the scenes feeding officials, executives, and elite guests on the NASCAR circuit—and another 8 years building a destination restaurant—Lisa launched Field & Forage to return to the fire.
Through fire-kissed recipes, seasonal ingredients, wild game, and storytelling from the fields, forests, and farms of Northern California and beyond, Field & Forage blends rustic cooking with soulful journaling—offering content, connection, and inspiration.
