This year’s UX@UW hackathon is a virtual 2 day designathon held on Zoom. We aim to bring together people with diverse skill sets to develop creative solutions that empower and uplift us into brighter and more equitable future.
Our theme for this designathon is - Design the Future.
Within the past two years, we’ve been through a pandemic, massive protests for justice and equality, the ever increasing number of natural disasters around the world, among others. With some of the life-changing events that have taken place, we encourage you to rethink how you want a more equitable future to look like.
There are 3 tracks you can design in social, nature, and health:
Social: How might we encourage the opportunity for equity in economic, political or social issues?
Nature: How might we promote sustainable behaviors to combat the climate crisis or improve ecosystems?
Health: How might we ensure a healthy lifestyle and well-being for all ages to increase sustainable development?
UX@UW invites students and non-students from all backgrounds and identities to join in on this experience to celebrate a more equitable future through our hackathon.
