Financial Securities Exchange (Private) Limited (FINSEC) is a company incorporated in Zimbabwe, for the realisation of an ambition to establish the country’s first ever integrated Alternative Trading Platform (ATP). The Exchange is licensed by the Securities Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ) in terms of the Securities and Exchange Act [Chapter 24:25] and the Securities (Alternative Trading Platform) Rules S.I. 100 of 2016.
The FINSEC seeks to harness the excluded instruments, formalise the marginalised market segments and bring all alternative trading venues out of the shadows. The integration of the marginalised instruments and market segments into the mainstream capital market is efficient from both the ATP’s investment perspective and is in interest of the investing public.
