from the prediction of calamitous events such as landslides and avalanches, up to the monitoring of drought or fires, passing through irrigation management in precision agriculture up to the evaluation of the water resource for hydroelectric generation deriving from the water contained in the snow.
Finapp has developed an innovative probe for detecting the amount of water dissolved in the ground or in the snow, capable of providing data measured in real time, in depth and on a large scale.
This technology is based on the measurement of ambient neutrons produced by cosmic rays (Cosmic-Ray Neutron Sensing).
The probe uses innovative materials, combined with proprietary software and components and represents an innovative method of measuring water content.
