About Firenze Race Team

Firenze Race Team is the official Formula SAE team of the University of Florence. We have been racing in this type of competition since 2000 and we are the italian team with the longest presence in this kind of races. In its twenty-year history the team, thanks to the passionate job of our former members, has grown quickly, collecting many interesting awards. We have raced in 14 competitions reaching: • “Best Rookie Team” title in Class 1 • “Most Friendly Team” title in Class 1 • “Schaffler Group” – ‘The best bearing and design selection’ in Class 1 • First place in the general ranking of Class 3 two times • Podium two times (3° and 2°) in the general ranking of Class 1
