About First Luxury Yachting
A NEW BENCHMARK First Luxury Yachting will be the first-of-its-kind SuperYachting experience for the globetrotting vacationer with a fine-tuned perception for the finest things in life and a relentlessly restless spirit. Bringing a selection of hand-picked elements of immersive experiences at sea, guests will have choices in exclusive leisure, health and wellness, networking, and fine dining currently not offered within the cruise industry. First Luxury Yachting aims to not just reimagine the cruising industry; it seeks to create an entirely new category in luxury travel. The SuperYacht’s signature will be a three-deck marina with an infinity and indoor pool – in other words, a luxury marina, bar none. The vessels will offer an indoor, upper-deck avenue which will allow guests to easily move from bow to aft without ever having to step into inclement weather. Standard suites will be 72 square meters (twice the size of the average industry standard suite). All suites will be designed to the same standard as a private yacht. The guest space ratio of 110 GRT (gross registered tonnage) per passenger will offer the most spacious cruise vessel in the industry to date. GREEN CRUISING First Luxury Yachting vessels will operate on a hybrid engine system that utilizes hydrogen, battery, ammonia and LNG in addition to marine diesel. This will enable the vessels to sail emission-free in and around coastal areas, breaking international regulation boundaries currently imposed upon non-green vessels. SOLID PARTNERS Our CEO will be Gregg Michel, former President and COO of Crystal Cruises and chairman of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association). Gregg has a track record of success in the luxury cruise industry. The founder of First Luxury Yachting is Per Erik Dahl, former importer of Toyota cars in Norway. Per Erik Dahl and his family developed Toyota into the top selling car brand in Norway with 27,580 units per annum.
