First Contact

First Contact is a metaverse for LGBTQ folx and allies to connect personally and professionally and become part of a network to rely on in all stages of life, chilling, working, and growing together on day to day basis. Delhi or Mumbai is not the best place for queer folks but there are still spaces to even meet other people from the LGBTQ community; there are almost none in the rest of India. In an offline-like environment, one can access queer spaces, people, and associated resources required by community members without putting themselves at risk. The space is designed to enable the exchange of experiences and knowledge towards the realization that no one is alone and towards collective growth without having to filter out our queerness. First Contact is building a world where we recognise gender and sexual diversity so practically that no one has to ever come or struggle for their existence.
