FishLab er et laboratorium som tilbyr analyser av nye biomarkører. Målet vårt er å bidra til å styrke fiskehelsen i norsk oppdrett.
Vi tilbyr overvåking av stress og kjønnsmodning gjennom analyse av kortisol- og testosteron-metabolitter i feces. Og siden det er tilstrekkelig med 0,2 g avføring for å kvantifisere disse hormonstoffene, behøver ikke fisken å bli avlivet.
Vi har spesialisert oss på væskekromatografi-massespektrometri (LC-MS/MS) som blant annet gir mulighet for nøyaktige og presise målinger av hormonstoffer.
