Previously known as Hangzhou Reducer Factory, established in 1976, Fixedstar became a private enterprise since 1997. We are manufacturing more than 3000 units of gear reducers/gearboxes every day, satisfying customers from the US, Italy, Germany, UK, Brazil, India, Turkey and so many more countries in the world. We are No.1 exporter of gearbox category from China Customs data for more than 20 years.
Our first accomplishment on Solar Tracking Industry could be dated back to 2012 when we had delivered 43,000 of custom made gearboxes to SUPCON SOLAR Delingha 10MW Tower CSP Plant. As largest manufacturer of worm gearboxes in Asia, our technician team found it a simple project. The gearboxes were modified from one of our standard right angle worm gearboxes, with additional parts for solar tracking purpose.
Then it was just natural for Fixedstar to continue our mission on clean energy industry. More professionals are hired to engage into various products for Solar Tracking. In 2015, with the new plant of 42 acres added to our production in Changxing, we accelerated and expanded research and production for Slewing Drives. Our latest project POWERCHINA Gonghe 50MW Molten Salt Tower CSP Plant has proved that Fixedstar Slewing Drives are as good as other famous brands in China.
As we keep on adding more items into our Slewing Drives with different types of structure and profiles for gears various from Single-Envelope, Double-Lead to Double-Envelope, either in vertical or horizontal, single axis or dual, we have signed contracts for Slewing Drives supply for more projects for both in China and abroad. With our patented and patent-pending solutions of slewing drives we are offering the Solar Tracking industry more choices, backed up by our engineering team of more than 40 years experience in gearboxes.
