The Free Journalist Foundation (FJF) is a legally registered nonprofit organization under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and recognized by the Sindh Charities Registration and Regulation Commission. FJF is dedicated to education, media literacy, and youth empowerment, ensuring transparency and credibility in its mission.
FJF operates five schools—two in Hyderabad and three in Kotri—each with over 1,000 students, providing free and quality education to 5,000+ students. These schools focus on academic excellence, critical thinking, and skill development to prepare students for future success. Additionally, FJF runs Adolescent & Adult Learning and Training Programs, offering professional skills, literacy education, and career training. Through these initiatives, over 10,000 young individuals have gained essential knowledge in media, journalism, and vocational fields.
Committed to promoting ethical journalism and responsible media practices, FJF collaborates with media organizations, academic institutions, and journalists to deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars on press freedom, digital literacy, and ethical storytelling.
To recognize excellence, FJF hosts annual award ceremonies, including:
• Role Model Teacher Awards – Honoring outstanding educators.
• Youth Role Model Awards – Recognizing young changemakers.
• Independence Day Award Show – Celebrating individuals who pass CSS exams and contribute to public service.
