Our school was put into service as "Orhangazi High School" in the academic year of 1988-1989, and in the academic year of 1989-1990, the 3-storey hostel building with a 150-person cafeteria was put into service and converted into Anatolian High School and its name was changed to "Fethiye Kemal Mumcu Anatolian High School".
Since the 1990-1991 academic year, three separate schools as "Ankara Anatolian Fine Arts High School", "Fethiye Kemal Mumcu High School" and "Fethiye Kemal Mumcu Anatolian High School" have provided education and training together in the school and hostel building. 1994-1995 academic year From the very beginning, our school was included in the Curriculum Laboratory School Project (MLO), and studies were started and a new dimension was added to the school. A computer lab was established in September 1995. It moved to its new building in the first semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. Education and training continues as Vecihi Hürkuş Anatolian High School at our new address.
