Neil and Carl Fletcher invented the Corny Dog and introduced it at the State Fair of Texas in 1942. The famous meal on a stick is simply described as, a hot dog dipped in our famous family batter then fried to golden perfection. We aim to serve the highest quality and locally sourced when possible, traditional Corny Dogs. We also specialize in frying up favorites such as classic funnel cakes and seasoned curly fries. Fletcher's is still family owned and operated today by the 3rd generation grandchildren of Neil Sr proudly serving their family’s famous fried fare. Many children, cousins, and grandchildren work the concessions trailers keeping the tradition alive.
