Flores El Capiro, fundada en 1982 bajo el nombre de “Geranios” por un grupo de inversionistas visionarios. El principal propósito de la compañía era cultivar y comercializar productos hortícolas. En 1985 Geranios comenzó a producir diferentes tipos de flores de corte como rosas, claveles y crisantemos.
Geranios adquirió la compañía Flores El Capiro en 1997 y mantuvo su nombre, él cual era más conveniente para el propósito del negocio de la compañía. Al final del 2008 Capiro se fusiono con otras compañías como Valley Farms y se enfoco en convertirse en el mejor cultivador de crisantemos del mundo. Igualmente en 2008 se comenzó a despachar contenedores marítimos con crisantemos al Reino Unido y a Chile.
Hoy, con más de 36 años de experiencia en cultivar flores y más de 11 años despachando flores de forma exitosa por contenedor alrededor del mundo “Capiro” es la casa de sus crisantemos y muchas otras oportunidades.
