The Florida Tech Rescue Squad is an entirely student-run organization that strives to provide free training, certifications, and EMS/First-Aid coverage to the public on Florida Tech's campus.
F.T.R.S. conducted its first semester of events and training in the spring of 2021 with over 25 founding members however, the club was officially founded in the fall of 2020 by Nick Brunetti and William Branca. During the first semester of operation, the club was able to educate its members in basic first-aid techniques and patient assessment along with many other areas of emergency response. The club also covered Florida Tech's Greek Week by providing EMS coverage to multiple minor incidents, proving the need for such an organization.
F.T.R.S. has great things in store for the future and we welcome anyone; NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
