Les Services suivants relèvent de cette compétence : Sécurité civile, Centre national de Crise, Office des Étrangers, Sécurité et Prévention, Identité et Affaires citoyennes, Innovation et Solutions digitales, Services fédéraux des Gouverneurs.
Nos missions sont extrêmement variées : sécurité et protection des citoyens, gestion de crise, politique des étrangers, inscription et identification des personnes physiques, organisation des élections, développement d’une politique d’informatisation globale pour notre département.

De FOD Binnenlandse Zaken heeft als opdracht het voorbereiden en uitvoeren van het beleid van de federale minister van Binnenlandse Zaken.
Onder die bevoegdheid vallen de volgende diensten: Civiele Veiligheid, Nationaal Crisiscentrum, Dienst Vreemdelingenzaken, Veiligheid en Preventie, Identiteit en Burgerzaken, Digitale Innovatie en Oplossingen, Federale diensten van de gouverneurs.
Onze opdrachten zijn uiterst gevarieerd: veiligheid en bescherming van burgers, crisisbeheer, vreemdelingenbeleid, inschrijving en identificatie van natuurlijke personen, organisatie van verkiezingen, ontwikkeling van een globaal informatiseringsbeleid voor ons departement.
