This is the world's first consumer goods paper water purifier powered by Folia Water. Our vision is to reach the 180 million people who consume microbiologically contaminated drinking water in Bangladesh. Our products are to be sold as mass-market grocery staples like soap, shampoo, beverages, and snacks.
Lack of clean water is catastrophic for public health: diarrheal illnesses kill more than 32000 children a year. Our mission is to ensure access to clean drinking water to the 180+ million low-income population in Bangladesh by 2032.
Our product kills waterborne pathogens at a price that is affordable to even those who make $3-10/day. Folia Water are designed to fit into a regular plastic funnel that allows users to walk away and leave a 1–5-liter bottle of dirty water to drain through a Folia Filter into any household water container, including a soda bottle.
