Food for More was conceptualised by Kamna Anand, Together she and Aadil Poonawala partnered with SpiceBox (http://spicebox.in) - A home style meal service provider that has been serving healthy meals all across Mumbai for over 6 years. Food for More aims to feed the elderly that have been abandoned and must do what it takes to survive. Unlike other initiatives that feed a large number of people sporadically, Food for More intends to feed the elderly consistently: Through the entire week, Sunday being the only exception.
One SpiceBox consists of: Rice, Dal, 3 Chappatis, A Sabzi and a Salad/Dessert
No dish is repeated for the entire month.
